AGUA GIRLS WIN METRO OPEN WATER CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Congratulations to all of our athletes who raced in the Metroplitan Swimming Open Water Championships at Glen Island Park! The AGUA Girls achieved the overall Team Title, while the boys brought home Runner-Up honors. Full results for all events are now available.
In order to contribute to the team score, athletes must place in the top four for their team in the 5K Event. The team of Bridget Lockwood, Allegra Speight-Ray, Sofie Dewan and Ella Knox won the team event by over 30 minutes. Our boys team of Oliver Shao, Bruce Qian, Alex Hoffmann and William Levine combined for second place in the boys standings.
Oliver was the fastest competitor in the boys 5K winning the event for all ages and 15 to 16 year olds. Additional event winners include:

As we continue the 2024-2025 AGUA season, we want to take the opportunity to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:
Locker rooms are shared spaces at both BPC & UES. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability and discipline.
There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted to be taken inside the locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets.
Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice.
REQUIRED ID CARDS
All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
