MILLY BIRCH SELECTED FOR USA SWIMMING NATIONAL SELECT CAMP
Huge congratulations to Milly Birch who was selected to participate in USA Swimming’s 2025 National Select Camp. The camp features up-and-coming swimmers throughout the country and will provide an exclusive training and educational opportunity for all athletes in attendance.
Invited athletes will gather at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado this month. Numerous National Team athletes and Olympians have previously attended the National Select Camps, including AGUA Olympians Lia Neal (2007) and Adell Sabovic (2019).
SEASON STARTER SERVICE HOURS
Thank you to all the families who volunteered at this year's Season Starter meet. With your help, we ran a safe and successful meet for our athletes!
All service hours are now accounted for. Please follow the instructions below to check your service hours. If you note any discrepancies, email Coach Evan at ebanciella@asphaltgreen.org by Friday, October 24.
Customized AGUA team caps with our new logo are now available for purchase! Please note that only last names are permitted.
All caps are custom-made and cannot be exchanged or refunded, so double-check your spelling before submitting your order. Once the team places the full order and approves the proof, shipping typically takes about five weeks.
Once we receive the shipment, we will notify families via email, and our coaches will distribute the caps to swimmers at practice.
Don't miss out! The deadline for ordering is Thursday, Oct. 30.
Please join us in cheering on AGUA coaches Youngho Kim and Peyton Werner for racing in the upcoming NYC Marathon in support of Asphalt Green on Sunday, November 2.

As we kick off the 2025-2026 AGUA season, we want to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:
Locker rooms are shared spaces at both BPC & UES. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability and discipline.
There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted to be taken inside the locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets.
Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice.
Only swimmers who are members of Asphalt Green are permitted to use the member locker rooms at Asphalt Green. There are no exceptions.
REQUIRED ID CARDS
All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
