COMPETITION UPDATES
AGUA EARNS HIGHEST VCC FINISH IN PROGRAM HISTORY!
The USA Swimming Virtual Club Championship program recognizes and highlights clubs that develop athletes and achieve success at multiple levels, emphasizing the team element of club swimming. Teams are ranked by the USA Swimming power point system.
The Virtual Club Championship runs throughout each swim season. Teams may score two swimmers per event and age group, while individual swimmers are limited to contributing four swims. Swimmers must be 11 years old or older to score points.
Congratulations to all AGUA athletes on scoring our highest VCC score in program history with 249,914 points for the 2024 short course season! We also earned our first-ever top-25 finish as a team, with a national ranking of 15th out of over 4,000 USA Swimming teams.
We are proud to recognize our swimmers who scored in the VCC this season in the 17 to 18 age group:

ACTION REQUIRED: INTENT TO RETURN
As planning begins for the 2024-2025 AGUA swim season, please let us know if your swimmer intends to return to the team in the fall. All athletes must declare their intent by Tuesday, May 28.
All swimmers will remain on their current spring 2024 practice schedule through Sunday, June 23. Beginning Monday, June 24, we will move to the summer 2024 practice schedule.
The final day of swim practice for the 2023-2024 season will be Friday, August 9, 2024.

AGUA COLLEGE COMMITMENT DAY
Join us to celebrate the AGUA Class of 2024 athletes who have committed to swim and study in college starting this fall. Swimmers in Senior Prep, Senior I, Senior II and National are encouraged to attend the event on Saturday, May 18 at 11:30am at the AquaCenter Third Floor.
