TEAM UPDATES

GREAT WORK AT MEMORIAL DAY INVITE

Fantastic work to all of our athletes who raced at this past weekend's AGUA Memorial Day Invitational in our home pool, right here in NYC. AGUA swimmers raced to personal best times, heat wins, and new qualifications for Junior Mets through Summer Junior Nationals!

Two AGUA team records fell courtesy of our ten and under boys team:

• Benjamin Luding - 200 Breaststroke (3:13.90; Previously set in 2009)
• Mikel Ruiz-Massieu - 200 Backstroke (2:50.49; Previously set in 2012)

Additionally, Mikel, Benjamin and Felix Turpin all raced under the previous mark in the 200 backstroke!

The AGUA coaching staff would like to thank all of our families for your hard work and commitment to our home meets throughout the 2024-2025 AGUA Swim Team Season.

REMINDERS

LOCKER ROOM REMINDERS

As we continue the 2024-2025 AGUA season, we want to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:

• Locker rooms are shared spaces at both BPC & UES. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability and discipline.
• There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted to be taken inside the locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets. 
• Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice. 
• Only swimmers who are members of Asphalt Green are permitted to use the member locker rooms at Asphalt Green. There are no exceptions. 

REQUIRED ID CARDS

All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
