COMPETITION UPDATES
AGUA's Dylan Rhee Qualifies For U.S. Olympic Trials!
Congratulations to our athletes who competed in the 2024 AGUA Memorial Day Invitational at Asphalt Green. Our athletes pulled together and raced to an incredible list of highlights!
On Sunday, May 26, long-time AGUA team member Dylan Rhee swam to a new U.S. Olympic Team Trials cut in the 200 breaststroke. In one final attempt in his home pool, with the support of his AGUA teammates, Dylan made the cut by over one second with a season-best time of 2:14.92. This will be his second trip to Trials after racing the same event in 2021.
Following suit, three AGUA team members raced to new AGUA Program Records in 200s of stroke at the meet. Huge congratulations to:
Atticus Fogarty: 11 to 12-year-old boys 200 meter butterfly (2:28.79)
Former record of 2:28.94 previously set in 2015
Chloe Fu: 9 to 10-year-old girls 200 meter breaststroke (3:14.02)
Former record of 3:17.15 previously set in 2010
Maya Mulholland: 9 to 10-year-old girls 200 meter backstroke (2:50.26)
Former record of 2:52.42 previously set in 2010
The AGUA coaches would also like to thank Ava Appignani, Nari Baker, Aislinn Moloney, Sloane Solash and Henry Tong for standing out as RAD teammates throughout the weekend.

TYR TECH SUIT FITTINGS
TYR will be visiting Asphalt Green this month to assist athletes with proper tech-suit fittings. As a reminder, all swimmers must follow the AGUA Competition Suit Policy.
Tech suit purchases made on-site may be discounted up to 30%. Goggles, practice suits, and training equipment will also be available for purchase.
