TEAM UPDATES

GREAT WORK AT SFTL SUMMER CLASSIC

Congratulations to our athletes who competed at the 2026 SFTL Summer Classic in Fort Lauderdale, FL! Our swimmers set new qualifications from Sectionals through Summer Junior Nationals, and our Women's Team earned first-place in the overall team standings.

Jonathan Packles won three events and set a new AGUA Team Record in the 15-18 and Open Boys 100-meter Backstroke with a new time of 56.08. This time lowers his own mark that he set earlier this year. He was joined as a triple event winner by Veronica McCall, who led the way for the girls.

The AGUA coaches would like to thank Lucien Chan, Andrew Quach and Xan Randolph for exemplifying our team values of respect, accountability, and discipline throughout the competition.

SERVICE HOURS NOW FINALIZED

All service hours for the 2025-2026 season are now accounted for on our team website. Please follow the instructions below to check your service hours. If you note any discrepancies, email Coach Isaac by Friday, July 3, 2026.

How to check the status of your service hours:

Visit our website and log in to your account.
In the top right corner, hover over your account name and click "My Account".
In the left-side menu, hover over the fourth icon down, then click "Invoices & Payments".
Navigate to the "Service Hours" tab.

Please note that we are happy to correct any errors in service hours. As a reminder, all AGUA families must complete ten service hours per year in accordance with our Family Service policy.

GET INVOLVED: BECOME AN OFFICIAL

AGUA is still looking for more Admin Officials and stroke-and-turn judges! Becoming an official is a great way to get involved in your swimmer's life and sport. You will learn the rules of competitive swimming and how meets work.

REMINDERS

LOCKER ROOM REMINDERS

As we continue the 2025-2026 AGUA season, we want to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:

Locker rooms are shared spaces at both Asphalt Green's Battery Park City and Upper East Side campuses. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability, and discipline.
There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted inside locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets.
Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice.
Only swimmers who are Asphalt Green members are permitted to use the member locker rooms at Asphalt Green. There are no exceptions.

REQUIRED ID CARDS

All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
