COMPETITION UPDATES

AGUA Named Top 100 Age Group Team

Congratulations to our eleven- to fourteen-year-old athletes on being recognized as a Top 100 USA Age Group Team by the American Swim Coaches Association!

The results were compiled using USA Swimming results of top-ranked swimmers in the 11 -to 12-year-old and 13- to 14-year-old age groups for the 2023 long course and 2023 to 2024 short course seasons.

AGUA finished in 19th place this year - the highest finish in program history and a vast improvement over last season's 91st-place overall finish. Great work to all!

AGUA Swimmers Recognized at Banquet

Congratulations to all on another successful year of AGUA swimming! The AGUA coaches were proud to celebrate these accomplishments at our annual banquet.

The year featured national top times, Metropolitan Swimming records, AGUA program records, college commitments, USA Swimming camp selections, and so much more. We could not be prouder!

TYR TECH SUIT FITTINGS

TYR will visit Asphalt Green this month to assist athletes with proper tech-suit fittings. As a reminder, all swimmers must follow the AGUA Competition Suit Policy.

Tech suit purchases made on-site may be discounted up to 30%. Goggles, practice suits, and training equipment will also be available for purchase.

If you are interested in applying for 2024-2025 AGUA tuition scholarships, you must submit all financial information through Asphalt Green’s financial aid software, TADS. Once you create a login, please make the following selections:

SERVICE HOURS NOW CONFIRMED

All service hours for the 2023-2024 season are now accounted for on our website. Please follow the instructions below to check your service hours. If you note any discrepancies, email Coach Kalee by this Friday, June 14, 2024.

How to check the status of your service hours:

Visit our website and log in to your account.
In the top right corner, hover over your account name and click "My Account".
On the left side menu, hover over the fourth icon down and click "Invoices & Payments".
Navigate to the "Service Hours" tab.

USA SWIMMING SAFE SPORT CLASSES NOW AVAILABLE

USA Swimming Safe Sport staff is hosting Zoom trainings for parents, minor athletes and coaches to assist clubs in completing the Training and Education requirement of the Safe Sport Club Recognition program.

All participants will need to register to attend training (see below). Alternatively, you can log in as an athlete or as a parent to take the course. We appreciate you for helping us remain a USA Swimming SafeSport recognized club!
