TEAM UPDATES
GREAT WORK AT SENIOR METS!
Congratulations to our swimmers who competed at the 2025 TYR Summer Senior Metropolitan Championships in Long Island, NY! Our athletes achieved numerous breakthrough performances, personal best times, and new qualifications for Junior Nationals, among other notable accomplishments.
AGUA came home with runner-up honors in the Women's team scoring, as well as third-place for Combined and Men's Team. Veronica McCall led our women's team tally with 56 points, while Adam Wu led the men's team with 64.5.
Our individual results were highlighted by Jonathan Packles setting a new Metropolitan Swimming Record in the 15-16 Boys 50 Backstroke (26.93). Jonathan also set a new AGUA Team Record in the 15-18 and Open 200 Backstroke (2:03.41). Xan Randolph joined him as an individual Team Record breaker, as Xan broke the 13-14 Boys 800 Freestyle (9:00.63) and 1500 (17:03.50) Freestyle marks.
The team also broke five relay all-time program records:
Women's 15-18 400 Medley Relay: Mia Slowik, Veronica McCall, Isabella Castano and Kayla Bolster
Men's Open 200 Medley Relay: Jonathan Packles, Aiden Rhee, Adam Wu and Ethan Pak
Men's Open 400 Medley Relay: Jonathan Packles, Spyros Argeros, Adam Wu and Yahro Pique
Men's Open 200 Free Relay: Yahro Pique, Adam Wu, Jagger Stachtiaris and Satya Agashiwala
Men's Open 400 Free Relay: Yahro Pique, Adam Wu, Jagger Stachtiaris and Satya Agashiwala
Extra congratulations to our individual point scorers:
Satya Agashiwala - 100 butterfly; 50 freestyle
Spyros Argeros - 100 and 200 breaststroke; 200 and 400 IM

REMINDERS
LOCKER ROOM REMINDERS
As we continue the 2024-2025 AGUA season, we want to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:
Locker rooms are shared spaces at both BPC & UES. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability and discipline.
There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted to be taken inside the locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets.
Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice.
Only swimmers who are members of Asphalt Green are permitted to use the member locker rooms at Asphalt Green. There are no exceptions.
REQUIRED ID CARDS
All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
