TEAM UPDATES

GREAT JOB AT MLK INVITATIONAL!

Congratulations to all of the AGUA team members who raced at our annual MLK Invitational at Asphalt Green! Our swimmers continued to race to new personal bests and additional qualifications for Junior Mets, Senior Mets and Sectionals.

The team was led by Alexander Argeros who was victorious in four events and set a new AGUA Team Record in the 11-12 Boys 1000 yard freestyle. His time of 10:56.25 broke the previous record set in 2023.

On behalf of our AGUA Swim Team coaches, thank you to all our families who served as officials, timers, volunteers and more throughout our MLK Invitational weekend!

We would also like to thank the following athletes for standing out as R.A.D. teammates at the meet: Ava Appignani, Bridget Lockwood, Henry Tong and Ben Vargas. These athletes exemplified our team values through their actions and behavior throughout the meet.

UPDATE: AGUA CUSTOM CAPS

An updated customized or generic AGUA cap is required for all AGUA competitions in 2025. Please plan accordingly.

To purchase an updated logo cap, please do one or more of the following:

Generic AGUA Caps (not customized) are now available for purchase at the front desk! You can purchase at the front desks of the AquaCenter or Battery Park City campus.
- Latex caps cost $6 and silicone caps cost $16.
Custom Cap Order #2 - Please note that our second round of custom cap orders is on hold. Stay tuned for updates.

REMINDERS

LOCKER ROOM REMINDERS

As we continue the 2024-2025 AGUA season, we want to take the opportunity to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:

Locker rooms are shared spaces at both BPC & UES. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability and discipline.
There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted to be taken inside the locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets.
Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice.

REQUIRED ID CARDS

All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
