Great Work at the 2024 TYR LCM Invitational!

We're so proud of our athletes who raced last weekend at the 2024 TYR LCM Invitational in Piscataway, NJ! AGUA swimmers continued our momentum by achieving event wins, national rankings, team records, first-time championship qualifications and more.

Milly Birch (200 butterfly, 200 backstroke and 200 IM) and Spyros Argeros (100 and 200 breaststroke and 200 IM) led the AGUA Swim Team event wins. Spyros also set two new AGUA team records in the 13- to 14-year-old boy's 100 and 200 breaststroke. The former marks were previously set in 2019 and 2009, respectively.

Spyros was joined by Sebastian Colvin among individual record breakers by setting a new AGUA standard in the 11- to 12-year-old boy's 50 breaststroke, beating the previous record set in 2015.

We'd also like to extend a big shoutout to our R.A.D. swimmers of the meet: Atticus Fogarty, Veronica McCall, Bruce Qian, and Tim Seliger.

Add our upcoming winter and spring 2024 events to your calendar:

• Thursday, February 1: Digital Dive In - AGUA Winter Parent Meeting at 7:30pm on Zoom — Register Now.
• Monday, February 19 through Thursday, February 22: Long course season group placements assigned. If your swimmer turns 11, 13, or 15 by June 1, 2024, they will likely be placed into a new group for the long course season.
• Monday, February 26: Spring Schedule Begins (swimmers will remain in current groups until Monday, April 8, 2024).
• Monday, April 1 through Sunday, April 7: AGUA Swim Team spring break. All practices are canceled. 
• Monday, April 8: Long course group placements begin.

Please see below for the slightly adjusted spring 2024 practice schedule. As a reminder, the spring schedule will begin on Monday, February 26. All swimmers will stay in their current practice groups upon the start of the spring schedule.

All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
