NOW UPDATED: SERVICE HOURS

Thank you to all the families who volunteered at home and away meets this season. With your help, we ran successful meets for our athletes!

All service hours are now accounted for. Please follow the instructions below to check your service hours. If you note any discrepancies, email Coach Evan at ebanciella@asphaltgreen.org by Friday, February 14.

How to check the status of your service hours:

1. Visit our website and log in to your account.
2. In the top right corner, hover over your account name and click "My Account."
3. On the left side menu, hover over the fourth icon down and click "Invoices & Payments."
4. Navigate to the "Service Hours" tab.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

NY STATE BILL S1322/A994 & TEMPORARY SUIT POLICY ADJUSTMENT:

Please be sure to review email communication from Coach David from Thursday, February 6 regarding New York State Bill S1322/A994, which went into effect on January 1, 2025.

This legislation prohibits the sale of any new apparel containing intentionally added PFAS within the state, impacting various industries, including swimwear.

If you did not receive this e-mail, please reach out to your lead group coach.

Please note: this update only affects swimmers ages 11 and older.

REMINDERS

LOCKER ROOM REMINDERS

As we continue the 2024-2025 AGUA season, we want to take the opportunity to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:

• Locker rooms are shared spaces at both BPC & UES. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability and discipline.
• There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted to be taken inside the locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets. 
• Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice. 
• Only swimmers who are members of Asphalt Green are permitted to use the member locker rooms at Asphalt Green. There are no exceptions. 

REQUIRED ID CARDS

All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.

We are excited to announce our new partnership with SwimOutlet for the 2024-2025 season. You can shop for team gear and the entire SwimOutlet catalog at our new AGUA team store using the link below.
