Congratulations to our swimmers who competed at the 2025 ISCA Summer Elite Showcase in St. Petersburg, FL! Our athletes dominated in the pool all around, coming home with the Overall, Girls Team, and Boys Team First-Place Titles. They also earned countless personal best times and new qualification standards for Junior Mets, Senior Mets and Sectionals.
Individually, AGUA swimmers raced to eight first-place high point honors, given to the swimmer in each age group who scored the most individual points:
Mia Jukic: 10-year-old girls
Benjamin Luding: 10-year-old boys
Jolie Loghmanee: 11-year-old girls
Olivia Kim: 12-year-old girls
Benjamin Vargas: 12-year-old boys
Atticus Fogarty: 13-year-old boys
Milly Birch: 14-year-old girls
Xan Randolph: 14-year-old boys
Benjamin Luding raced to a new ISCA Meet Record in the 10-year-old boys 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:27.58 , while Milly Birch lowered the AGUA Team Record in the 13-14 Girls 100 Butterfly. Her time of 1:03.98 bested the previous mark set by U.S. Olympic medalist Lia Neal in 2009.

IN-PERSON SUIT FITTINGS & AGUA TEAM SHIRTS
SwimOutlet, our provider for t-shirts, practice equipment, tech suits, and more, will be on-site for in-person fittings (tentatively) on:
Friday, September 12 (UES campus, 4pm-7pm)
Saturday, September 13 (BPC campus, 8am-11am)
Dates will be confirmed in next week's newsletter. AGUA team T-shirts are also available for order at the team store. All members of the AGUA Swim Team must purchase one of each color (Black, Dark Gray, and Light Gray). Team shirts with the updated AGUA logo are required for each competition.

REMINDERS
LOCKER ROOM REMINDERS
As we kick off the 2025-2026 AGUA season, we want to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:
Locker rooms are shared spaces at both BPC & UES. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability and discipline.
There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted to be taken inside the locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets.
Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice.
Only swimmers who are members of Asphalt Green are permitted to use the member locker rooms at Asphalt Green. There are no exceptions.
REQUIRED ID CARDS
All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
