COMPETITION UPDATES

GREAT WORK AT ISCA ELITE SHOWCASE

Congratulations to our athletes who raced at the 2024 ISCA Elite Showcase in St. Petersburg, Florida! The AGUA boys team raced to the Overall Team Championship Title, while our combined efforts earned second place in the team scores.

The meet saw countless highlights as our athletes worked through adversity in the Florida weather throughout the meet! The AGUA coaches were proud of how our athletes worked together and still raced to new personal best times, championship qualifications for Senior Mets and Sectionals and more, as outlined below.

New AGUA Program Records fell courtesy of Atticus Fogarty (11-12 Boys 200 Butterfly, 400 freestyle and 800 freestyle) and Will Rankin (13-14 Boys 400 freestyle).

ISCA Meet Records were set by Alexander Argeros (100 and 200 backstroke), Milly Birch (50, 100 and 200 backstroke), Atticus (400 and 800 freestyle), Mason Kostov (50 freestyle) and Nicholas Pichlmeier (100 breaststroke).

AGUA also came home with 47 gold medals, 36 silver medals and 51 bronze medals. For a full breakdown of individual medalists, be sure to check our Instagram page.

SAFESPORT CLUB RECOGNITION

AGUA is proud to be recognized as a USA Swimming SafeSport recognized club. In order to maintain our status as a SafeSport Team through the next Olympic quad, we need our athletes and families to watch the 20-minute videos linked below by Saturday, August 31.

IN-PERSON SUIT FITTINGS & NEW AGUA T-SHIRTS

SwimOutlet, our new provider for t-shirts, practice equipment, tech suits and more will be on-site for in-person fittings on:

Tuesday, September 10 (UES campus, 4pm to 7pm)
Wednesday, September 11 (UES campus, 4pm to 7pm)
Thursday, September 12 (BPC campus, 4pm to 7pm)

AGUA team T-shirts with the new AGUA logo are now available for order at the team store. All new members must purchase one of each color (Black, Dark Gray, and Light Gray).
