Congratulations to our athletes who raced at the 2023 Senior Metropolitan Championships in East Meadow, NY!
AGUA's efforts were highlighted by three individual medals and record-setting relays. Alegra Teixidor-Salerno led the way with a gold medal in the 200 breaststroke, while Ryan Kakimseit (100 backstroke) and Delilah Skaistis (100 breaststroke) earned bronze medals in their respective events.
Ryan teamed up with Satya Agashiwala, Rodin McKenna, and Eric Slavin to set new Metropolitan Swimming and AGUA Swim Team records in the 200 freestyle relay. Ryan, Satya, and Eric also combined with Jagger Stachtiaris for a new AGUA Swim Team record in the 200 medley relay.
On the women's side, Mia Slowik, Carter Roebuck, Abi Greenberg, and Azana Karim set a new AGUA Swim Team record in the 200 freestyle relay. Overall, the team brought home nine medals as well as runner-up honors in the combined and women's team scoring!

Asphalt Green's Annual Facility and Pool Maintenance
From August 20 through September 4, we will be performing annual maintenance on various parts of our Upper East Side and Battery Park City campuses. During this time, our pools will be closed. Be sure to take a look at our blog all about fun things to do outside of the pool!
