Congratulations to our AGUA athletes in the graduating class of 2026 who have committed to swim and study at the collegiate level starting this fall. We celebrated our class of 2026 commitments on Saturday, April 25.
Athletes must be accepted into their school of choice and offered a roster spot on the swim team to officially commit to a college swimming program.
This year's class will leave the program after more than a decade of leadership and success in and out of the pool. Together, the AGUA class of 2026 achieved AGUA Team Records, USA Swimming Scholastic All-American Honors, three Sectionals Championship Team Titles and so much more.
AGUA is still looking for more Admin Officials and stroke-and-turn judges! Becoming an official is a great way to get involved in your swimmer's life and sport. You will learn the rules of competitive swimming and how meets work.
Learn more and reach out to Charles Asch and Ashley Chan with any questions.
LAST CALL! JOIN US AT THE TURNING THE TIDE SWIM-A-THON ON MAY 2
Our very own AGUA swimmer, Ali Wright, is again organizing a swim-a-thon in support of Asphalt Green's community water safety and learn-to-swim programs. Last year, she raised $75,000 for our water safety initiatives, and has already raised over $80,000 this year.
This year, Ali is thrilled that her AGUA teammates Mark Silverman and Kate Casciato will help run the event. With your participation, you can join Ali, Mark, and Kate’s cause to expand access to swim instruction.
Ask friends and family to donate to your effort, either through a flat donation or by pledging a certain amount of money per lap you swim. (Donation links and promotional materials will be provided.)
As we continue the 2025-2026 AGUA season, we want to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:
Locker rooms are shared spaces at both Asphalt Green's Battery Park City and Upper East Side campuses. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability, and discipline.
There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted inside locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets.
Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice.
Only swimmers who are Asphalt Green members are permitted to use the member locker rooms at Asphalt Green. There are no exceptions.
REQUIRED ID CARDS
All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
