GET INVOLVED: BECOME AN OFFICIAL
AGUA is still looking for more Admin Officials and stroke-and-turn judges! Becoming an official is a great way to get involved in your swimmer's life and sport. You will learn the rules of competitive swimming and how meets work.
Learn more and reach out to Charles Asch and Ashley Chan with any questions.
JOIN US AT THE TURNING THE TIDE SWIM-A-THON ON MAY 2
Our very own AGUA swimmer, Ali Wright, is again organizing a swim-a-thon in support of Asphalt Green's community water safety and learn-to-swim programs. Last year, she raised $75,000 for our water safety initiatives, and has already raised over $27,000 this year.
This year, Ali is thrilled that her AGUA teammates Mark Silverman and Kate Casciato are helping run the event. Their efforts will create pathways to swim instruction for children of families who otherwise wouldn't have been able to afford these opportunities.
Ask friends and family to donate to your effort, either through a flat donation or by pledging a certain amount of money per lap you swim. (Donation links and promotional materials will be provided.)
YOU'RE INVITED! ASPHALT GREEN'S ANNUAL GALA ON MAY 28
Join fellow AGUA families at Asphalt Green’s special Gala celebration on Thursday evening, May 28.
When you attend the Gala, you honor a coach, uplift a team, and provide critical funding to advance Asphalt Green’s mission to create pathways to achievement through sports, fitness, and play.
Help us celebrate the joy of movement at a venue that reminds us where play once began. We look forward to bringing our community together at the iconic Central Park Zoo for this unforgettable evening. The sea lions may even show us some impressive strokes at cocktail hour!
As we continue the 2025-2026 AGUA season, we want to remind our athletes of locker room policies and best practices:
Locker rooms are shared spaces at both Asphalt Green's Battery Park City and Upper East Side campuses. All AGUA swimmers should speak and behave in alignment with our team values of respect, accountability and discipline.
There are absolutely no photos or videos permitted inside locker rooms, both on campus and during travel meets.
Swimmers should lock their belongings in a locker during practice.
Only swimmers who are Asphalt Green members are permitted to use the member locker rooms at Asphalt Green. There are no exceptions.
REQUIRED ID CARDS
All swimmers must use their ID cards to access our facilities. Swimmers are not permitted to enter the facilities without their ID cards.
