DYNAMIC WARMUP #2
Dynamic warmups are essential before you jump into the water.
This exercise, demonstrated by Coach Isaac, begins with a bear plank in a tabletop position before lifting the knees to engage the abdominals. By rotating and kicking your leg through (hence the title, "kick through") you're working shoulder rotation and oblique activation before ending in a downward dog.
A good beginner version is to tap your hand to your opposite knee. The next progression is to work your way into the rotation but not a full leg extension. The most advanced version is to kick the leg straight out without touching the ground.
Rinse and repeat till you feel warmed up!
