NYC SPORTS ARE BACK ON TOP, STARTING WITH ASPHALT GREEN
Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics (AGUA) coaches Hailey Hewitt and Diana Ross spoke with us about the program's historic season, after they were named Age Group Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year by Metropolitan Swimming.
Last month, the New York Liberty won the WNBA championship, the Yankees returned to the world series, and Asphalt Green Soccer Club's Boys and Girls teams continued to climb up regional and national rankings.
We were thrilled to reopen River East Elementary's swimming pool with the Stand By Me Foundation and Principal Michael Panetta, where we will bring our free aquatics programming to the East Harlem community.
