Today, drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury-related death for children ages 1–14 in the United States. This Water Safety Month, and every month, we work to make water safe for all, because learning to swim isn't a privilege — it's a life-saving skill that everyone deserves to have. AGUA SWIMMER FEATURED IN NY POST AHEAD OF SWIM-A-THON FUNDRAISER
Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics (AGUA) Swimmer Ali Wright is set to host her third annual Turning the Tide Swim-a-Thon tomorrow, May 2, to expand access to swim instruction through Asphalt Green's free learn-to-swim programs. “It’s bringing the community together," she said. "And I love the community swimming has brought me.” Ali has surpassed her $100,000 fundraising goal by $13,000, and the number continues to climb.
